“Thanks for the chance to comment on our recent experience at CMA’s Hyundai of Winchester.
We were very pleased with our sales associate, Phil Ashley. He was very knowledgeable about the vehicle, the Santa Fe. He explained and demonstrated many of the features. He didn’t get tired of all the questions we asked! He has a very pleasant personality and seemed to care about our car needs. He arranged for us to test drive a Santa Fe.
We told him we were deciding between a Honda and the Santa Fe, and in fact had an appointment at Honda that same morning.
on a Hyundai. In fact, he worked to complete an estimate for us in a timely manner so we could make the Honda appointment time.
After going to Honda, we decided the Santa Fe is the right vehicle for us. Unfortunately, Phil did not have a car in stock, or even in process, that had the features we like (all black interior is a deal breaker). He mentioned they have a long waiting list of people wanting cars and Hyundai is not sending many. He was responsive to my email requesting he keep us in mind as new cars are assigned to his dealership.
Subsequently, my husband called around to other dealers and found a car in Fairfax close to our wish list. It is due at that dealer later this month and we have placed a deposit on it over the phone.
Please make note that Phil Ashley is the one who “Sold” us on the Santa Fe and we would have loved to buy our vehicle from him. The associate in Fairfax seems like a very nice man, but he just happened to answer the phone AND have a car available.
I would like Phil to receive recognition/reward for this sale. Please forward this email to his supervisor.
I am excited to become a Hyundai owner. We have purchased 3 Toyotas in the past. Now we feel Hyundai is the better brand for us.
