Through the group effort of the team at CMA’s Honda of Lynchburg, they were able to raise $250 in gas cards for the new Homeless Shelter in Lynchburg – Roads to Recovery. Their mission is to help people find and sustain recovery from substance disorders, and to eliminate the stigma that prevents people from getting help. Their vision at the Shelter at Reset is to be a welcoming transition for any person experiencing homelessness while working with them to find stable, sustainable housing. The majority of their residents do not have any kind of transportation capabilities.
The money they raised will help with the gas expenses to take their individuals to doctor’s appointments, mental health services, case manager meetings and job interviews. We are very happy to partner with Roads to Recovery and help them even with a small impact make a difference in the lives of those in our community.
