Just a Few Days Left to Apply for CMA’s MLF Scholarships! Don’t Wait!

It’s not too late! Any child of a current CMA associate attending a technical school, a vocational school, a community college, or a four-year college can apply for CMA’s MLF Scholarship!

Selection Criteria

  1. A current CMA associate parent must sponsor the student.
  2. Students must complete the online application (link below).
  3. A completed application for the student must be submitted no later than midnight
    on March 29th, 2024
  4. The student must be a graduating senior or a current student at a technical college, community college, or four-year college.
  5. All ages, gender, race, religion, and areas of study will be considered. One scholarship each year will be given special consideration to a student studying in the automotive technology field.
  6. Recipients will be selected both by merit and financial need.
  7. The financial need will be based on the submission of the student’s family’s adjusted gross income from the previous year’s tax return.
  8. To determine merit, the following factors will be considered:

a. GPA
b. One essay question
c. Community service
d. School activities
e. One teacher recommendation
f. Relevant work experience

Scholarship Application

The following documents need to be submitted with the application:

  1. High school or college transcripts
  2. Personal essay* (written or video)
  3. One letter of recommendation from a teacher
  4. Student’s family’s adjusted gross income from the previous year’s tax return
  5. In addition, before scholarship funds can be disbursed, the student must provide an acceptance letter from an accredited two-year, four-year college or technical school.

Failure to complete the application and submit all required documentation by the deadline can result in your application being disallowed for the current application period.
