The following letter was sent to Keith Black, from our Chester dealerships, commending their efforts and partnership with the Hope Center!
“Dear Keith,

Though Jay Burchell and I have known each other for many years, and though CMA has been a financial sponsor of the Hope Center’s annual Walk Against Hunger in the past, CMA and the Hope Center did not officially meet as organizations until you and I met at the Southern Virginia Regional Chamber meeting this past March. By my past history with Jay, and your established outreach with the Colonial Heights Food Pantry, we immediately established a common bond.

That has led to CMA’s support for the Hope Center through an incredible donation of clothes that we distribute to our neighbors and others who stop by the Center for a daily lunch. The clothes are a true blessing. So many of those who utilize the services of the Hope Center are impoverished. Rarely do those who visit the Hope Center ever come dressed in shoes and clothes that reflect the dignity of their personhood.
Just as important are the shoes and clothes CMA associates provide for children of all ages. It is humbling to consider of how a child’s self-esteem is raised by decent clothing. It may seem like a little, but what the CMA associates are doing for men, women, and children can only be measured by the economy of heaven. We cannot thank you enough.
Blessings,
Scott Fisher, Exec. Director
DCU/The Hope Center”
What a wonderful partnership our Chester stores have created! Keep up the outstanding work in your community!
