Join us in celebrating a milestone work anniversary for Jim Childress! Jim started in the car business in 1975, first selling cars and trucks in Waynesboro. He came to CMA’s Colonial Auto Center in June of 2011 as New Car Sales Manager and held that position until May of 2019 when he retired from full time work. Jim now works part time taking photos of our vehicles for the website and does some DX driving.

Jim loves cars and trucks, and currently owns 7 vehicles. His favorite is his first car, which he still owns, which is a 1966 Chevrolet Corvair convertible. He has been married for 50 years to his wife Kathy and they have 2 daughters and 2 grandchildren. Jim is also an Eagle Scout and currently serves as an elder at the Waynesboro Church of Christ.
If you need some “old time” car advice, feel free to ask him. His office is in the Nissan Building at the Charlottesville market!
Thank you, Jim, for your years of service and dedication to CMA! We appreciate your loyalty and love for the auto industry! Cheers to more years of moving lives forward together!
