Klarisa received a call from a customer traveling from North Carolina to New Jersey, experiencing car troubles. Their vehicle had shut off while driving on I-81. She quickly arranged for an Enterprise rental car to pick up the customer so they could continue their trip while we worked on their vehicle.
We discovered that we needed to order a bulkhead harness, which took two weeks to arrive. By the time the part was in and the vehicle was ready, the customer had already returned home and was back at work. They weren’t sure how or when they could come back to pick up their car.
In a generous show of support, Billie Jo and Lance Villecco volunteered to come in on their day off to deliver the car to the customer, making the seven-hour round trip to return the vehicle.
Klarisa also learned that the customer had recently lost their dog, Piper, earlier that week. Wanting to offer some comfort, Klarisa picked out a heartfelt card and included a gift card for a picture frame so the customer could display their favorite photo of Piper.
Here is the customer’s review which won the Love promise moment of the month for November with the DC Zone District 1:
“The service team here is truly exceptional. In my 59 years, I’ve never experienced anything like it. While traveling from NC to PA, my Subaru had a major electrical short. Luckily, I was close to this dealership. They had my car for several days, quickly diagnosed the issue, ordered and installed a new bulkhead wiring harness under warranty, and even drove the car nearly 3 hours south to meet me in Lynchburg to make things easier for me. They also covered my rental cars—one to get me to PA and back to NC, and another to get to Lynchburg days later. I can’t recommend these folks enough and wish they were closer to where I live.“
