We are so fortunate to have Ken Kraft as a part of our CMA family! Ken was invited to speak at the 2023 Roanoke Cattle Baron’s Ball, on October 7th. This is an annual American Cancer Society fundraising event that CMA’s Lynchburg dealerships have supported for years. CMA was also able to support the one in Richmond this year as well on October 21st.
Ken was introduced as “someone very special” and invited to take the stage as an extremely impactful speaker, representing CMA. Ken’s volunteer resume with the American Cancer Society is extensive. He is not only a Cattle Baron’s Ball Board Member, he’s also a corporate sponsor, a Voice of Hope, and a member of the Virginia Board of Directors for the organization!
While Ken spoke to over 800 attendees, the room was completely silent as they listened to his story, which is far more important than his resume. Many tears where shed.

If you have not met Ken, he is a one-of-a-kind servant heart human and for those of us who have had the honor of getting to know him in person, we are all better for it.
With Ken’s help, creating awareness of the mission, the Roanoke event raised approximately $650,000 that night. The Richmond event, which was held only two weeks later, raised over 1.5 million dollars with around 1200 attendees! All donations will be kept locally for the American Cancer Society. CMA is extremely proud of Ken and proud to be a supporter of such impactful events in Virginia. We are owners that genuinely CARE for our Associates, Customers and Community.
