Community: CMA Partners with Giving Words to Support Single Mothers in Need

Carter Myers Automotive (CMA) is proud to partner with Giving Words, a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting single mothers, particularly by addressing their transportation needs. Reliable transportation is essential for single mothers to maintain employment, take their children to necessary appointments, and ensure their children can participate in extracurricular activities. Unfortunately, many single mothers face significant challenges in securing dependable vehicles, which can make daily life incredibly difficult.

Giving Words was founded with the mission of assisting struggling single mothers who are in need of reliable transportation. Since its inception, the organization has gifted 49 vehicles to families in need, provided necessary repairs for 260 families, and facilitated the donation of five vehicles to students pursuing their education after high school. This kind of support makes an incredible difference in the lives of these individuals, helping them achieve greater stability and independence.

CMA is honored to contribute to this meaningful cause by donating vehicles and providing essential automotive services to families in need. Through this partnership, multiple CMA locations and associates have enthusiastically stepped in to help wherever possible. One particularly heartwarming instance of Giving Words’ impact involved the facilitation of a vehicle donation from one CMA employee to another employee in need—demonstrating the power of community and generosity within the CMA family.

The collaboration between CMA, Giving Words, the Tech education program at Louisa High School, and other Virginia businesses has led to countless inspiring stories of families overcoming obstacles with the help of a dependable vehicle. By working together, we are making a lasting difference in the lives of single mothers and their children, helping to provide them with the freedom and stability they deserve.
