With the new benefit year on September 1, CMA now offers a new Employee Assistance Program (EAP) through Guardian.
Why is CMA providing access to an EAP? We care about you and your dependents. The EAP can be used free of charge by all benefits-eligible employees and their dependents. It can help when facing emotional, financial, legal, or other concerns.
Is the service confidential? Yes, the EAP is strictly confidential. Your employer is not provided with any information about your participation.
Why might you or your family use the EAP? Many reasons-
- You may be feeling overwhelmed by the demands of balancing work and family.
- Experiencing stress, anxiety, or depression
- Dealing with grief and loss
- Need assistance with childcare of elder care concerns
- Have legal or financial questions
- Have concerns about substance abuse for yourself or a dependent
What counseling services does the EAP provide? Three face-to-face or virtual sessions per person, per issue, per year
