Jessica Compton is celebrating 5 years with Carter Myers Automotive!
Jessica started at CMA’s Colonial Hyundai on Dec 28th 2017. She was hired as a sales consultant after leaving a collections job with Capital One and looking for a better career path. Talal El Oukaili, General Manager, says he was very skeptical to hire her at first because she is more of an introvert by nature, which can be a challenging trait in sales, which requires getting out of your shell and showcasing yourself along with the product you are selling to attract the customer to pick you over the competition.
He remembers her first 90 days and how she kept to herself learning the product, watching her peers, taking everything in like a sponge, and little by little she started to get out of her shell and was promoted to Internet Sales Manager. This is where she shined the most and was able to showcase her talents. The time spent on the phones at Capital One proved to be of great help to her. She was able to connect with our incoming leads quickly and efficiently, set appointments and offer them the customer experience they deserve. Jessica’s skill set didn’t stop there! She wears many hats and is a go-to for the sales team for all their wants and needs. She also helps cover the sales desk, and back up finance when needed. She earned the prestigious Myers’ Flyers award a few years ago, and has helped many others receive similar awards and recognitions under her tutelage.
