Its time to share some exciting news happening in the Richmond market! In partnership with the Henrico County Adult Education Center (Trade Education) CMA is sponsoring a Store Front at Regency Square Mall!
For those not familiar with Regency, it was a popular Mall in the 80s and 90s that has been in decline for some time. Mac Beaton the Director of Henrico County ACE came up with an idea to revitalize the space for Trade Education and the County has leased and renovated 35k sq/ft of space!
The original store fronts remain in place, but they have been shortened and classrooms, meeting rooms and breakout rooms have been constructed behind them!
There is state of the art learning space for Automotive Technology, Electrical & HVAC, Construction and Life Sciences as well as a Financial Literacy Center sponsored by Henrico Credit Union!
The goal of this project is to remove the stigma from Trade Education and to showcase the great opportunity that exists in learning something new at any age!
