Thank you to everyone for your efforts to make our annual Cars and Cans food drive campaign a success! There is such a great need this time of year with children being out of school for the summer months and not getting the nutrition they are used to being in school.

Locally, we provided 4,017 meals in the Staunton Market, 3,528 meals in the Richmond market, 1,875 meals in the Charlottesville market, 200 meals in the Martinsburg market, and 150 pounds in the Winchester market. Additionally, Lynchburg raised $5,500 for the local Salvation Army and Williamsburg collected 833 cans and raised over $1,500 in cash donations. Valley Subaru Service team also had the highest ROUND UP and beat their goal of $500! Great work everyone!
Overall, that is 9,770 meals for our community! What an amazing accomplishment YOU ALL were able to achieve! Thank you for helping us Move Lives Forward in our communities!

A special shoutout to Tammy Banning from Colonial Chevrolet, Jessica Hicks from Honda of Lynchburg, Faith Hylton from Williamsburg Ford, Laura Campbell from the Valley, and Natalie Gibson from CAC! Thank you for your initiative and leadership in getting everyone involved!
CMA appreciates everyone’s generosity and participation in our Quarter 2 Philanthropy! We can’t wait to see how everyone shows out for Quarter 3… Stay tuned!
