CMA’s Talent Acquisition Specialist, Beth Lucchesi, has been busy!
V3 (Virginia for Veterans) teamed up with the Chamber of Commerce and Fort Lee to provide a job fair for active duty military who are transitioning back to civilian life. As a member of V3, CMA was invited to participate. Beth met with about 25 veterans (male and female) and shared the opportunities we have in automotive and encouraged many to reach out as their exit dates approach.
It was the first Veteran specific event CMA has been able to attend. We were the only automotive group present and one of the other vendors is a long-time customer of CMA’s Colonial Honda and was kind enough to share his experiences with several interested vets.
Beth also recently attended the Massanutten Technical Center Career Fair in Harrisonburg and had a great turnout. Over 50 students came by to learn more about CMA. Plus she had a great conversation with the Principle of MTC and they are looking at the possibility of setting up “shadow days” at CMA’s Valley Dealerships in the near future.
