Each associate has natural talents that drive greater results, produce deeper joy, and contribute uniquely to teams. CMA Academy will help associates to identify their talents, use them, and grow them into strengths.

About Strengths

Associates are talented in different ways. Everyone wins when associates find their talents and use them to achieve their intended outcomes.

CliftonStrengths® (formerly StrengthsFinder®) by the Gallup Organization is the assessment that identifies your ranking of natural talents from 34 different talent areas.

Benefits for regularly working in your strengths include improved productivity, engagement, positivity, collaboration, quality of life, innovation, and profitability.

Strengths help with important business areas like performance management, check-in conversations, teamwork, change management, communication, conflict, and more. Some associates have also used the Working Genius assessment. Strengths and Working Genius are complementary tools—Strengths describe the building blocks of great work, while Working Genius describes the process of great work.

Strengths at CMA

Each CMA associate will be able to take the assessment and have opportunities for multiple types of online and onsite training to put their talents to active use.

All new hires and new managers will take the assessment (or upgrade to the Full 34) and receive training as part of their onboarding process.

Gallup Access is the name of the website platform on which associates will take the assessment, access their reports, and view online learning options. In addition, managers can view their team reports by request.

CMA is providing assessment codes to managers to receive their Full 34 ranking, while other associates will see their Top 5. Individual dealerships can purchase upgrade codes to the Full 34 ranking for their associates on Gallup Access.

The assessment will take about 40 minutes to complete.

While you can complete it via mobile device, you may prefer a computer. If you’ve previously taken the assessment, please use a different email address than you used the previous time.

After completing the assessment, you can access your reports by logging into Gallup Access, which is the website platform you used to take the assessment. Gallup Access displays your reports and learning resources to continue your Strengths journey.

About the Strengths Facilitator

The facilitator of the Strengths movement at CMA is Chris Heinz, our Director of People &  Associate Experience. As a Gallup-Certified Strengths Coach and Gallup conference speaker, Chris has helped hundreds of workplace teams to become Strengths-based, including:
