Everyone needs time off to relax, recharge, and attend to personal matters. To help employees with this balance, we have PTO benefits available to all Class 1 Full-Time (average 36+ hours per week) and Class 2 Part-Time Employees (average 30-35 hours per week). Your status and uninterrupted time of service with the company influence how you earn and how much PTO you earn per year.
Your PTO benefit encompasses vacation, sick time, family sickness, funeral leave, inclement weather conditions, and other personal time off.
We have three tiers of PTO Benefits based on your tenure/ time of service. Year 1 Benefit, Year 2& 3 Benefit, and the Year 4+ Benefit.
Class 2 Part-Time employees receive an hourly rate times one-half of Class 1 Full-Time benefit.
1st Employment Year
- After 30 days of employment, associates will earn PTO at 4 hours per pay period up to 40 hours for the first calendar year.
2nd & 3rd Employment Year
- Beginning January 1st, associates will earn PTO at 4 hours per pay period up to a maximum of 80 hours in these years.
4th Employment Year and Thereafter
- On January 1st, 120 hours will be credited to PTO bank. (This time is available to use, but not for Cash-out on January 1st. There is a schedule for the pro-rated payout available for these hours available here on CMApeople)
When you are ready to take advantage of your PTO, you can use your Paylocity app to request approval from your Manager. The app will also show you your available balance.
