CMA Associates,  Many of you probably have not heard about a piece of legislation that is currently being proposed by the FTC.

The FTC has proposed a rule that, if finalized without changes, would dramatically change the way that dealers sell vehicles and Voluntary Protection Products like extended service contracts and gap waiver. This rule would not only impose confusing and costly requirements on dealers, but it would also harm the very consumers that the proposal is intended to benefit. It would make car sales more complex, cumbersome, and would impose exceedingly burdensome record-keeping requirements.

We have worked hard as a company to have a transparent and efficient sales process and be as focused on the customer experience as possible.
