Women United in Philanthropy Luncheon!

CMA was a proud sponsor of the Women United in Philanthropy (WUP) luncheon this past Tuesday! Women United in Philanthropy formed in 2005 with the goals of fostering women’s philanthropy and helping the Charlottesville/Albemarle area by addressing human service needs through collective donations.

Our CEO, Liza Borches, is a founder of WUP and invited a few members of CMA’s philanthropy committee to take part in recognizing the FOUR grant award winners for 2023! 100 Black Men of Central Virginia, Child Health Partnership, and Reclaimed Hope Initiative received $15,000 for their non-profit programs, while Girls on the Run Central Virginia and Blue Ridge received a $5,000 grant for their non-profit in Charlottesville!

Thank you to everyone who was in attendance!
